| The family of James Reed Canerday mourns
his passing. Born November 28, 1951 to James and Ethel Miller Canerday
at Florance, Alabama. Entered into rest August 7, 2010 in Coal City,
Indiana. His memory will be cherished by former wife, Pat Canerday; children, Amy Couch and husband Sam of Coal City, Bradley Canerday and fiancé Michelle of Cloverdale; parents, James and Ethel Canerday; brothers, Danny Canerday of Greenwood, and Tim Canerday of Florance Alabama; grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew Couch and Jarrod and Kylynn Rene Goebel. James was drafted during the Vietnam War, served his country honorably in the US Army and National Guard and was a mechanic retired from the State of Indiana. He was Commander of Putoff-Lautenschlager Post 141 of the American Legion, Coal City, and member of board, Coal City Fire Department, also life member of United Auto Workers region 3. Funeral service conducted 7:00 p.m. Wednesday August 11, 2010 at Patricksburg Methodist Church. Visitation from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Funeral Honors by Coal City American Legion at the commencement of visitation. Military Rites accorded by Post 106 Worthington American Legion Honor Guard following the service. Memorial contributions in remembrance of James may be directed to the Coal City American Legion Post 141. |
