| William Jackson “Jack” Weddle,
79, of Nashville Indiana died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Brown County
Health & Living Community. He was born September 25, 1928 in Columbus, Ind.,
to Freemont “Monte” and Martha (Snyder) Weddle. He was a teacher with the Brown County Community School Corp. for over 30 years. He was a member of the Indiana State Teachers Association. In his post retirement years, he was a part-time naturalist at Brown County State Park. As an avid outdoorsman and craftsman, he had numerous hobbies. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Survivors: His wife, Kay (Myers) Weddle of Nashville; sons, Scott of Bloomington and Kurt (Stacey) of Trafalgar; daughters, Amy (Steve) Crabtree of Nashville, Erica (Tom) DeGlandon of Nashville and Wendy (Tony) Butiste of Spearsville; 11 grandchildren and one sister, Sarah Voland of Crawfordsville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life service is 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Abe Martin Lodge in Nashville’s Brown County State Park.
