Ronald Eugene Hewitt

  The family of Ronald Eugene Hewitt mourns his passing. Born February 7, 1943 at Columbus, Indiana to Charles Hewitt and Lillie Bryant Hewitt. Entered into rest March 12, 2008 at Bloomington Hospital, surrounded by loving family.

  His memory will be cherished by wife, Diane Hewitt; children, Michelle (Todd) Root, Tony (Tana) Collins, Troy Hewitt, Michelle Kope; siblings, Jerry (Beverly) Hewitt, Shirley (Larry) Elgar. 

  Ron worshipped at and was a member of New Life Community Church, Nashville, and his faith will be carried on by 6 grandchildren: Maddison, Alexandria, and Keaton Root, Chris Gonzales, Sarah Kope, Wesley Hewitt; one great-grandchild.

  He is reunited in the presence of our Heavenly Father with both parents; daughter, Lori Hewett.

  Funeral Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2008 at New Life Community Church of Nashville, Pastor Darrell Stout officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the church. Interment to take place following the funeral in the family plot of Duncan Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Children’s Ministries of New Life Community Church.
