   Ruby Ellen Helen Lawson “Granny” Childs Allen, 82, Bloomington, passed away October 12, 2008 at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Survived by children, Col-Leen Alberta Rainey and Rosemary Lirot; brother, Roy Earl Lawson.
   Funeral service conducted 7:00 p.m. Thursday October 16, 2008 at Gospel Assembly Church, 1310 Thornton at Maxwell, Bloomington. Visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Nathan Butler Funeral Home.
