Glee Berneice Conyers

    Glee Berneice (Wright) Conyers passed from the mortal life into the immortal on May 20, 2008. She was a devoted wife and mother to her husband and family as well as innumerable other young people in her work at Greencastle Junior High School and DePauw University.
    Glee was born August, 12, 1921 in Hendricks County. She was the third surviving child of Alva and Grace Wright. Glee’s parents and her brothers, Merle and Tommie Wright preceded her in death.
    On February 15, 1941, Glee married Lloyd B Conyers. Three children, Keith, Karen, and Howard were born of their marriage. Lloyd and Keith preceded Glee in death.
Glee died as she lived, surrounded and comforted by the love and support of the staff of Autumn Glen, her family, and her faith.
    The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to a charity of choice. Glee’s children, Karen Conyers of Bloomington, Howard and Susan Conyers of Reno, NV; grandchildren Sarah Conte (Indianapolis), Tim and Victoria Conte (Philadelphia), Kim and David Teuscher (Norman, OK), and Andy Conyers (Oklahoma City); and her great granddaughters, Grace and Ella Teuscher invite friends to join them for this reception.
 

   A celebration of Glee’s life will be held at 1pm on May 23, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Greencastle. Services will follow, beginning at 2pm.
