Essie Mae Garner

   The family of Essie Mae Garner mourns her passing. Born June 8, 1919 at Macon, Mississippi to Sam Spain and Maggie Lee (Gingham) Spain. Entered into Eternal Rest June 27, 2007, at home, surrounded by loving family.
Her memory will be cherished by children, Pearlie Thomas; Earline Clanton; Jonnie Shaw; Maggie Nash; siblings, Frances Hodges; Sammie Martin; Marjorie Spain; Willie Spain.
Essie’s faith will be carried on by 16 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
   She is reunited in the presence of our Heavenly Father with husband, Charlie Garner; both parents; brothers, Nathan Clanton; Neal McGee; Leroy McGee; and all the Angels, Saints and Martyrs.
   Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2007 at Second Baptist Church, 321 N Rogers Street, Bloomington, and Pastor Bruce Ross officiating. Interment to follow at White Oak Cemetery. Friends may call 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
